The Tale Of The Two Wolves

This adorable puppy looks like a wolf, doesn’t he? I met him at a friend’s house. It was a fun night out, dancing to the Hula Hoop on the Wii, which is something I enjoyed, yet I don’t normally do.
The Tale of the Two Wolves

I was pondering about the power of our choices and remembered The Tale Of The Two Wolves.  This is one of my favorite “tales” EVER! I found it while reading a magazine once, cut it off and put it on my fridge (I’m a word-nerd, can’t help it!).

I decided to share it with you, along with this puppy pic. Enjoy!

An old Cherokee chief is teaching his grandson about life:

A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.

The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

This same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:Which wolf will win?”

The old chief simply replied: “The one you feed.”

I am committing myself today to apply these teachings into my life and it is my prayer that you join me. Let’s make empowering choices that allow us to become our higher self and live in alignment with our higher purpose.

Let’s go feed that cute good wolf!
