Does GOD Really Care?

I have gotten to know a beautiful friend, whom I have not heard from for a while.

He wrote this to me and I felt inspired to share it and pour my soul to both him and YOU.

“I have been going through some very hard times these days not being able to work. I have always been a person that worked for the things I wanted or needed, now because of my back, I find myself having to ask for money and many other things to keep myself going and I can tell you it hurts.

I have come to a point in my life where I keep asking God if he really cares for me or not. There are so many things right now where I am having trouble trying to stay away from giving up altogether.

I wish I could talk to someone face to face that won’t judge me because of what I am going through.

I am sorry, but the pain in my life right now is taking over and I need to pull myself together. Talk to you later. Thanks and God Bless.”

Cherished Friend:

I can understand what you are going through. I have been through many challenges, which seemed unbearable at the time.

When we’re going through adversity, we think we are not strong enough, not brave enough, not wise enough...and the list goes on.

God Cares - Positive Mom blog - MOMtivation

This reminds me of my mom. I always thought she was kind of crazy to expect so much of me.

Did she think I could do it all?

How old/smart/strong did she think I was anyway?

It took me a while to understand that she knew me better than I knew myself. I was her child!

I find myself a mom, expecting greatness out of my daughters. They are children as I was, and they are oblivious to their potential. Their challenges with homework are piece of cake to me, but to them, it’s a crisis. I know they can do it and although they may want to give up, I press on. After all, feeling helpless and like you cannot accomplish something is NOT fun! But oh what joy it is to stretch yourself and do it! And how grateful are we when we’re on the other side?

As children of a Perfect Creator, the story is the same. He knows our potential, He knows best and He knows US best! He knows we can withstand the crisis. He knows what we are made of.

God did not give you a bad back, my lovely, He gave you a loving soul, a wonderful analytic brain, an open heart to connect with friends who love you for who you are. No one is to judge you, as they do not have the authority unless you grant it. I have to quote Eleanor Roosevelt once again No one can make you feel inferior without your consent”.

I have thanked my mom for her amazing faith in me. She knew all along I would see the victory. She did not have to say a word. Go say Thank You to YOUR Creator, friend. Thank Him for His perfect knowledge that you’ll get through this. Ask Him for guidance. Trust. Make the pain your springboard toward freedom. He doesn’t just care for you, His love for you is perfect beyond measure.

Mothers experience pain to birth a life…and life is a miracle. Happy delivery, my friend, and count your blessings. I love you.
