It’s true that magic can just happen. Blessings are bestowed and miracles are granted.
But truth be told, life is a collection of moments, and the most magical moments are those you create with the ones you love.
But…What IS magic?
The official definition is “the power of apparently influencing the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural forces.”
I personally believe that we create magic in our lives not by suddenly being endowed with super powers or the ability to alter our reality, but by just shifting our mindset to let the magic happen. Let go and let God.
Today, our family is embarking on a magical journey to the Western Caribbean on the Disney Magic.
Besides feeling grateful and excited beyond words, I find myself reflecting upon life’s magic and celebrations.
From multiple Disneyland in California and Disney World experiences in Florida, my girls have enjoyed magical celebrations each year of their lives.
We love every park, every character, every show, every ride [okay, I confess I’m a little scared of the Haunted Mansion], and I scream like crazy at Disney On Ice.
Disney Parks are full of people from all places and of all ages that embrace CELEBRATION and seem to have their Mickey Mouse Magician’s hat on.
As we arrive in Gavelston, the energy starts to rise up and our smiles start to get bigger.
“We’re going on a cruise” – we’ve announced to every breathing human being possible – “But not just ANY cruise” – it is inevitable to add – “a DISNEY CRUISE!”
Disney and MAGIC just go together!
Magic comes from within, but Disney has a special way of bringing it out of us.
That’s why I am a MASSIVE Disney fanatic and evangelist.
I know we must embrace, seek, and invent opportunities to create magic moments in our lives…and the Disney Cruise Line is ideal, especially if you’re a Texas mom and were disappointed thinking you had to go all the way to Orlando for a magical celebration.
Plus think of the wonderful destinations: Western Caribbean and the Bahamas (Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral, Key west, Costa Maya) with 4, 6, or 8 nights and different pricing to fit your budget and your schedule.
It’s just a few minutes before boarding. We’re off to celebrate our family.
Remember: like the band America used to sing “ You Can Do Magic.”
We just jammed to it on our road trip from Dallas to Galveston.
There’s nothing supernatural or mysterious about it.
Just put on your Mickey Mouse Magician Hat and hop on the Disney Cruise Galveston – we sure are!
