As women, and especially as mothers, we are sometimes forced required to wear many hats and, in the midst of all we do, it is often very easy to:
~become an extension of someone else and live the life they want us to live.
~lose our spark because events or circumstances bring us down, people hurt us and things seem to go wrong.
~forget who we are, our essence.
I found this fragment by Rachel Snyder and I felt compelled to share it with all of you:
“Don’t ever lose sight of the gift that is you.
When your life seems to knock you down, get back up and get back in the game.
Remember what you are made of.
Remember what’s flowing in your veins.
Remember what you were given, and remember what you went out and created on your own.
Like any great masterpiece, you’re not done yet.
Inside you is the best of everyone who has come before you – and the best of everyone yet to be.
You can forget some of what life hands you, but never ever forget who you are.
You are a gift to the world!”
Remembering who we are is not enough. Don’t ever let your talents and amazing abilities, skills, or traits deceive you.
While you are an incredible creation, the Creator was first.
Admire the creation that is you and remember the Creator that is God.
Love each day because you’re blessed…and remember who YOU are!
