A few days ago, I drove my girls to our nearest Drive-In movie theater for a special treat. We wore our The Grinch t-shirts and watched The Grinch on the big screen.
For their eighth fully animated feature, Illumination and Universal Pictures present The Grinch, based on Dr. Seuss’ beloved holiday classic.
Dr. Seuss wrote “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” in 1957! We’ve read this book a hundred gazillion times. I remember laughing so much with the “new” English words I learned and feeling so proud as the girls practiced their reading skills with Dr. Seuss’s catchy rhymes. It’s always fun to relive these memories together and make new ones!
Benedict Cumberbatch’s rendition of the infamous Grinch is sure to make you and kids of all ages laugh until your stomach hurts and warm your heart as he realizes the true meaning of Christmas – surrounding yourself with love! We loved every minute of it!
The Grinch – now in theaters – tells the story of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl’s generous holiday spirit. Funny, heartwarming and visually stunning, it’s a universal story about the spirit of Christmas and the indomitable power of optimism.
I love the message that Christmas doesn’t come from a store, and because Christmas is my favorite holiday, I am sharing some fun Grinch themed activities for children of all ages I found on GrinchGoodDeeds.com:

Pin The Heart on The Grinch – Hearts
These fun and educational printables will help us focus on the true meaning of Christmas, and will help our hearts grow a few sizes, even if they weren’t two sizes too small to begin with.
In addition to these Grinch activities, I am giving away a , courtesy of Illumination and Universal Pictures for one fortunate winner in the USA, 18+ years old. Enter to win here:
