They often say that being a Single Mom is a superpower. Many people are amazed to know I decided to become a positive mom during what seemed such a tragic time and to create a successful home business as a mompreneur so I could spend time with my daughters.
There is nothing to be amazed at… and there is no superpower, but there is one SECRET to success in all areas of life and I’m going to share it with you. It can change the course of your life and empower you to create the results you most deeply desire.
So… what is THE ONE practice that guarantees your success at everything every time?
It’s so simple! You see, we all face adversity ALL THE TIME, but you can shape healthy, empowering, positive meanings to your story by asking questions.
There are 3 ways to ASK ( and RECEIVE Success):
In the Bible, we read “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” [James 1:5] I am certain that you can access infinite wisdom by making fervent prayer a prominent practice in your life.
In addition to personal revelation, we must ask ourselves powerful questions to direct our thoughts, attention and mental focus to feelings that allow us to create a positive life.
I was listening to Personal Power II over the weekend, an audio program by Tony Robbins, and I was reminded about how essential it is to ask specific questions of yourself [in your self-talk] so that your divine mind will automatically search for an empowering answer or solution, allowing you to feel, decide, and act accordingly. A winning pattern, right?
As part of our New Year’s ritual, my husband, the girls, and I came up with 5 passionate life questions to ask ourselves daily. I encourage you to come up with a few questions of your own so you can consistently access your inner power, focus on gratitude, and experience more JOY, LOVE, and PASSION in your life.
Instead of asking “How can I possibly do this alone?,” you become instantly empowered with internal motivation by asking “What can I do next to make it happen?” That’s how I started my business!
The third aspect is to ask QUALITY people for direction. It is wise to recognize the infinite potential we can harness when we have mentors that share our CORE values, beliefs, and standards, to guide us and keep us on track on the path to success.
Looking back, I realize that asking high-quality questions was really what created a shift toward positive single motherhood. The “superpower” was asking God, my mentors, and myself questions like “how can I raise my kids in a quality environment?” “how can I equip them to be happy ANYWAY?” “What can I do today to make the VISION I have for them POSSIBLE?”… and I RECEIVED answers…and still do… and so can YOU!

Very good thought and nice post . Our time and life is full of uncertainty so we must not settle on being good at everything and we shall always desire or strive for improvements.

Right on! I love to hear people who are positive. Negativity does nothing for you! I totally agree that having a quality support system is the key to success....and if you have no one who shares your core beliefs, expand your circle and like you said, ask yourself how you can move forward in life! You are your own biggest support system!

Asking for help can be dehumanizing at times, but we have to get past it to move forward.

Love the POSITIVE attitude here. There are days when I feel like my business won't be successful, but when you seek others advise and keep trying and think positive, it will work
