Earthly life presents a diversity of setting, background, and daily experiences for each of us, and I would dare say no two people experience life the same way. However, there is a common thread to our mortal existence:
- We were all born into our body through pain
- We all experience pain, trials, and challenges
- We all die and move on, which is a source of pain
Is life supposed to be PAINFUL?
As a child, I always believed in God and felt His Spirit when I voraciously read the Scriptures with my brother… but I had questions; and each of these questions was framed in the way of a complaint.
How could God BE love — and more specifically, how could God love ME — when I was experiencing so much pain?
I didn’t feel loved. I didn’t feel protected. I didn’t feel accepted. I was angry, and confused, and during one of those dark moments of my early teen years, I even attempted to cut my days short through suicide.
As I grew older, I was determined to avoid marriage, motherhood, and a family of my own, as I considered them the very source of all my misery. When I finally did commit to those divine roles, I ended up being hurt yet again.
Have you ever felt hopeless, scared, and abandoned in seemingly endless suffering?
You are not alone. I felt like that for years and I’ve mentored many wonderful women like you who have struggled with the same feelings.
Today, after finding my calling and purpose in motherhood, I feel God’s love amidst all pain, and truly understand Romans 8:28:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
All the hardships of the past prepared me for what I was called to be according to His purpose: a positive mom. I know —without a doubt— that the pain you are feeling is an effective tool that can help reveal your calling and God-given purpose.
How can you turn your pain into your purpose?
Through the deep trauma and excruciating pain, I’ve learned that in life our interpretation outweighs our experience. When we make the conscious choice to reframe painful events, we are empowered to shift our perspective, which brings healing, breakthrough, and understanding.
Because I want to share my joy, I have prayerfully selected 21 moms like you and I, who have been faced with insurmountable obstacles and learned powerful lessons that they will share to help you overcome challenges and achieve success, like they have.
The Inspiring Mom Bloggers Summit is a free global gathering and virtual mentoring event that I am hosting from January 5th to January 30th, where we will be sharing exactly how they transformed their wounds into wisdom and how you can, too.
Go to InspiringMomBloggers.com and register FREE so you can learn to surrender the pain of the past, let go of what is holding you back, unlock your potential, discover your calling, and embrace the promise of a grand destiny that God has prepared for you.
If you are alive, God is not finished with you yet. In the end, everything will be okay, and if it’s not okay, it’s not the end!
Are you ready to step into your greatness?
